Puppy pads are not a personality. They are a tool: apartment life, overnight gaps, travel, or the weeks when your puppy’s bladder is writing checks the backyard cannot cash yet.

Use pads as a bridge toward outdoor success, not a forever indoor bathroom — unless your vet or living situation truly requires them. Reward outdoor pees harder than pad pees, and shrink pad territory over time.

Keep a stack by the door, in the crate zone, and in the car. Your future self (and your rugs) will send a thank-you note.
